About Curtis Falls

A breathtaking view awaits at the end of a short walk through dense rainforest.  From the viewing platform, admire the water gently rambling over the basalt rock falls and watch out for fish, turtles and eels in the rockpool. The rocks provide important glow-worm habitat, so please stay on the track.

Facilities at Curtis Falls

Toilets are available at the Joalah Section day use area, and there are cafes near the intersection between Eagle Heights Road and Geissmann Drive. The well-touristed Gallery Walk is just a short drive away as well, as is Main Street in North Tamborine, and there are pleasant cafes in both those locations.

About the Curtis Falls walk

The walking track is medium difficulty (class 3) with some uneven surfaces and steps.  It can be slippery when wet. The track is 1.1km return.  There is an optional 2km extension along Lower Creek Circuit that you can take if you wish.

After traveling under the shade of the lush rainforest canopy, you will reach the Curtis Falls viewing platform.
