About Phil Hill Environmental Park

One of the Gold Coast's best boardwalks meanders through this scenic waterside park on Jabiru Island in Paradise Point.  The 330-metre boardwalk was built by the Runaway Bay Lions Club in 1996, taking more than 1200 hours of labour to complete.  

Beautiful water views will delight you at every turn as your weave your way through mangroves along the boardwalk. The mangroves are an important part of the local aquatic ecosystem.

There is one picnic table which is unsheltered. Picnic and BBQ facilities as well as toilets are available at the adjacent Jabiru Island Park.
