About Hinterland Regional Park

This 62 hectare park is an excellent choice for those looking for a peaceful country setting with wide open spaces and picnic facilities.  The park also features an off-leash dog area, horse trails, a playground and toilets. There is plenty of parking too.

This picturesque parkland was the very first Mudgeeraba land to be settled by Europeans in 1869, establishing itself as a historical cornerstone of this area.  An active volunteer bushcare group helps the City of Gold Coast renovate and maintain the natural areas within the park.  If you want to get involved, they meet on the first Saturday of each month from February to November from 8am to 10am.
