About Frascott Park

Frascott Park is packed with so many activities that it would be very easy to immerse yourself in the great outdoors for an entire day here. The park is located in Varsity Lakes in the central Gold Coast, not far from Burleigh.

Features include:

  • Two playgrounds with some captivating highlights like a large spiral slide, a challenging climbing frame, a flying fox, and a safari jeep.  One of the playgrounds is suitable for little ones.
  • A paved track encircling the park, which is suitable for walking, running and cycling.
  • Plenty of other opportunities to exercise including fitness stations, a full basketball court, and a sports field.  The fitness equipment is well-maintained and conveniently located alongside the walking track.
  • Two off-leash dog areas — one caters for dogs of all sizes and energy levels and has agility equipment and a picnic shelter, while the other caters to smaller and older dogs.  In other areas of the park, dogs need to be on a leash, and they are not permitted in the playground areas.
  • For those planning a delightful outdoor meal, the park offers numerous picnic tables, three barbecues, and public restrooms, including a dedicated facility for visitors with disabilities.
