About Eddie Kornhauser Recreational Reserve
Eddie Kornhauser Recreational Reserve offers a captivating blend of sprawling fields, serene waterways, cyclist-friendly paths, dog-friendly facilities, an equestrian area and playground.
One remarkable feature of this park is the presence of a small island that can be reached by footpath. On this island, you'll find a spacious off-leash dog area, specially designated for your furry friend to wander freely and explore agility equipment. There is a water tap in the dog park.
The park provides ample opportunities to breathe in the fresh air and to get some exercise. It's an idyllic spot for picnicking as well, boasting tables shaded by majestic trees as well as numerous inviting areas to spread out a picnic blanket. As depicted in the photos below, there is an abundance of space for outdoor games too, so bring your ball or frisbee. It's a good spot for birdwatching too.
Adjacent to Gray Street, there is a dedicated equestrian arena. However, horses are not permitted in any other sections of the reserve. Dogs are not permitted in the equestrian area.
