About Davenport Park at Bonogin

Set in the heart of small village of Bonogin, Davenport Park lies peacefully at the base of a lush green valley.  The park includes a sports facilities plus plenty of grassy space that might remind some of an English common if it weren't so much warmer in Queensland.

Davenport park has:

  • Cricket field and nets
  • A small basketball court
  • Sheltered picnic and barbecue facilities
  • An off-leash dog area
  • A basic sheltered playground
  • A boardwalk
  • Public toilets

Being at the base of the valley, the park can be prone to flooding so best not to visit after heavy rains.

The boardwalk walk sits adjacent to the park and offers a pleasant diversion for those looking for further exercise.
