About Chris Cunningham Park

This beautiful park on the shores of the Tweed River features a touching military memorial with a fountain and commemorative plaques. A memorial wall pays tribute:

IN MEMORY OF THE FALLEN
LEST WE FORGET

Chris Cunningham Park is also a place to celebrate life.  The scenery is magnificently coastal, with palm trees and blue water creating an inviting scene. Kayaks and paddle boards often sit atop the still waters of the river inlet.

There are plenty of picnic tables, some under the shade of trees, and many in stunning settings.  A barbecue is also available.

There are also park benches to relax upon, grassy spaces and walking paths, but no public toilets.

Dogs are welcome on a leash.
